On Tuesday, June 21 st , BLK at Spotify – New York will be celebrating Black Music Month,
and invite you to join us for “Black Music: Sound + Culture + Identity”.
Hosted by Spotify’s Head of Hip-Hop Programming, Tuma Basa, this session will consist of
a panel of Black Music experts who will discuss the impact black music has had on the
sound of other genres, the influence it has had on pop culture, and the responsibility it has
had in shaping the identity of music fans worldwide.
